SIMPLE ANALYTICS / CLEAR CHOICES
A clearer view of privacy.
Analytics is enabled by default and counts page views as daily totals. Your audit inputs and results are not collected. You can turn analytics off at any time.

A choice you can change
The notice explains what we count and provides an Understood button and a Turn off analytics button. Acknowledging or closing the notice keeps the setting shown in the panel.
Open Analytics settings at any time to turn analytics off or back on. Turning it off stops future page counts from this browser in the website. Counts already included in a daily total cannot be attributed to you or removed individually.
If you previously rejected analytics in this website, that saved choice remains off. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also keep analytics off, regardless of the site setting.
How we remember your choice
When you acknowledge the notice or change a setting, we use a preference cookie on this device to remember the setting for 180 days. It applies to the website and is not a visitor identifier or an analytics cookie.
If you clear cookies, use another browser or device, or the preference expires, analytics returns to the default-on setting and the notice appears again, unless your browser sends a privacy signal. If your browser prevents the preference being saved, the setting applies to the current page only. An unreadable saved setting keeps analytics off until you choose a setting.
What analytics counts
AuditSample sends only a fixed public page name to a counter on this website. The counter immediately increments that page’s total for the day. The analytics store contains only the day, page name and total page views.
We use these totals to understand which pages are useful and improve the site. A page loaded more than once may be counted more than once; the counter does not distinguish unique visitors or follow individual journeys.
- No individual analytics event records, visitor identifiers or profiles are stored.
- Audit inputs, results, client records, URL parameters, referring pages and device details are not included.
- The counter does not store IP addresses, use tracking cookies or enable advertising trackers.
The calculator processes your parameters in your browser. It does not ask you to upload client records. A downloaded result is a text file created on your device.
When analytics is off
After you turn analytics off, new page loads do not send counts, including in other website tabs using the same saved preference. The calculator remains available with analytics off. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are also respected.
Normal website requests still involve technical connection information, such as an IP address, so the web server can deliver the site and protect its service. This is separate from the aggregate page counter. These settings apply to AuditSample’s calculator, methodology and privacy pages. Other tools hosted under this domain have their own settings.
